Maintenance

  • CARBO-DISCS REPLACEMENT:

    • Remove center cap screw with wrench and tap out worn Carbo-Disc. Tap clamp and canvas washer from center to Carbo-Disc. Make sure the chuck is free of dust and chips. Put canvas washer and clamp in center of Carbo-Disc, start cap screw and lock washer and tighten securely.

  • LUBRICATION:

    • Daily - Grease in both wheels, head cup and engine cup on drive assembly. Remove grease plug in gear head and inspect grease level on gears. Add only when necessary and do not over lubricate.

    • Weekly - Add small amount of grease to three ale mite fittings in work head and one in caster assembly.
