Maintenance

  • CUTTER BUNDLE REPLACEMENT:

    • Remove COTTER PIN & WASHER (76MP), from both ends of SPINDLE, (643 or 643E).

    • Slide CUTTER BUNDLE (674 or 674E), and CUTTER BUNDLE FELT (645), from SPINDLE.

    • Slide new CUTTER BUNDLE FELT & CUTTER BUNDLES on SPINDLE. Lock PLATE on CUTTER BUNDLE to face in toward CUTTER BUNDLE FELT and CUTTER TIPS must point in the direction of rotation .

    • Replace COTTER PINS & WASHER.

 

  • LUBRICATION:

    • Change grease (676) in Gear Housing after every 8 hours of operation. Remove HANDLE (608). With Tool sitting level add (676) grease through hole. Then replace HANDLE.
